C. Scott Humphrey, MD, is the creator and main author

A board eligible orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Humphrey is a graduate of the University of Oregon (BA, 1989). He attended the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt
Lake City, UT. He finished orthopaedic surgery training at the University of Nebraska
Medical Center/Creighton University residency program.
He completed an additional year of training beyond orthopaedic surgery residency to subspecialize in surgery of the shoulder and upper extremity
with Tom R. Norris, MD, and H. Relton McCarroll,
MD at the California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, CA.
Dr. Humphrey opened the Boise Shoulder Clinic in September of 2006.
Dr. Humphrey enjoys white-water rafting, fly fishing, and
skiing.

He is a graduate of University of Rochester School of Engineering,
Vanderbilt University Medical School, attended University
of Missouri, Kansas City for Orthopaedic Residency and completed
his fellowship at the California Pacific Medical Center in
San Francisco. He is also a United States Naval Flight Surgeon
and completed two tours with the United States Marines.
His academic focus is shoulder replacement surgery, in particular
the “Reverse” arthroplasty. He is a specialist in surgery
of the shoulder and elbow and an expert in minimally invasive
arthroscopic techniques. Dr. Kelly, together with his partners,
trains fellows, residents and visiting surgeons in advanced
techniques in shoulder surgery.
Dr. Kelly enjoys spending time with his family as well as
skiing, road and mountain biking, windsurfing and flying.

Annie is a registered/licensed occupational therapist. She completed a bachelor's degree in kinesiology with emphasis in human movement, and minored in psychology at San Francisco State University. She received her Masters degree in occupational therapy at Samuel Merritt College Graduate. Annie has worked with the orthopaedic surgery team at California Pacific Medical Center over the past two years to establish inpatient rehabilitation shoulder protocols for postoperative shoulder surgery patients. |
